The aesthetic of a design is fundamental in that this is what speaks of its character, its presence, its role within the urban fabric. It has a language that is edgy, an angular piece with a smooth, perforated outer skin that also benefits in this fashion from its location, perched as it is on an angled junction of a major artery in the city of Limassol. The design itself is a simple diagram in many ways. Nothing complex. The outer skin, taut and crisp, creates and accentuates the depth of the façade, while the manner in which it leans further emphasises the depth and the rhythm of the element. Unlike many contemporary designs which live behind an all-encompassing skin, shutting themselves off, this is a design that articulates its various compositional elements.
