A renovation and an extension in the remote village of Kannavia, in the Troodos mountains. Materials such as wood and stone create a warm, appropriate atmosphere in internal spaces. This is neat contrast to the white, glazed, metal box which envelopes them.
Leaning on the existing volume, without making a fuss but, with a couple of skew columns for good measure, the extension makes a statement against the rugged landscape without becoming overwhelming.
