Elia studied at the Technical School of Nicosia, graduating in 1997.

In 2000 she joined Eraclis Papachristou Architects. During her time at the office Elia has established herself as a pivotal member of a growing team, participating in the most prestigious and complex projects of the office including the Engineering Faculty of the University of Cyprus and the Labs Tower.
