Rhombus Office Building

The building is conceived as a stacked composition of expressed concrete floor plates, defining both its identity and its relationship to the city. Each slab is shaped as a continuous, sculpted plane, extending outward to form deep overhangs that generate a strong horizontal rhythm across the façade. Rather than dissolving into a singular envelope, the architecture is deliberately articulated. The concrete slabs are read as independent elements, hovering and shifting as they rise, while full-height glazing is set back between them. This layering creates a clear dialogue between structure and transparency, mass and lightness. At ground level, the slabs lift and taper to create a permeable base, allowing the building to engage the street and define sheltered public space beneath. Materiality is restrained and direct. Concrete provides weight, texture, and permanence; glass offers openness, flexibility, and visual continuity between interior workspaces and the urban environment. Vertical screening elements introduce a secondary rhythm, filtering light and adding depth without compromising clarity. The result is an office building defined by a simple structural gesture, repeated and refined.
